DESIGN.
TEST.
REPEAT.

Hey, I'm George. I'm a first-year engineering student trying to figure out how to build things that actually help the planet (and don't fall apart underwater).

PROJECT SPECS

  • ROLE:LEAD RESEARCH & TESTING
  • TIMELINE:4 MONTHS
  • TOOLS:FUSION 360, 3D PRINTING
  • OUTCOME:VALIDATED PROTOTYPE

A "Pet Fish" robot we built to filter microplastics out of lakes. It's basically a Roomba for the water, but looks like a fish so it doesn't freak out the real ones.

SUSTAINABLE DESIGN

Trying to make stuff that doesn't wreck the environment. We spent a lot of time figuring out which materials wouldn't just turn into more microplastics.

RAPID PROTOTYPING

From messy sketches to CAD models that actually work. We broke a lot of prototypes so the final one wouldn't break.

DATA DRIVEN

We didn't just guess. We used pH meters, flow tests, and a lot of trial and error to prove our idea wasn't just cool, but functional.
